Doing It Different

Oct 12, 2021

Good health allows us to show up as the person we want to be and live our best lives. Gut health is a critical component of our lives and food is how we can heal it.

Alison Marras is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Mindset Coach. She also has a new cookbook: Paleo Gut Healing. In this episode we go deep into gut health and how to commit to your health with food for the long term (and not make it so stressful you burn out).

Gut health is one of the biggest pieces in our overall health, and it’s especially important for people with autoimmune disease and chronic health issues. Alison takes us through the steps to restoring gut health how it's not just about what you eat, but how you eat.

Alison also has Hashimoto’s and has a two-year-old daughter. She shares some tips on how to approach pregnancy and how to monitor your thyroid hormones and stress if you have Hashimoto’s and are trying to conceive.

This is a great episode and I’m so excited to share the wealth of Alison’s knowledge with you!
