Doing It Different

Jun 22, 2021

What was once deeply associated with the hippie movement is now being used to help people recover from trauma and improve their mental health. Today we're talking psychedelics and psychedelic therapy.

Ronan Levy, co-founder and chairman of Field Trip Health is actively contributing to the psychedelic renaissance by providing a space for clinical mental health treatment using ketamine assisted therapy (and hopefully MDMA and psilocybin assisted therapy in the future when approved by the FDA).

Ronan and I talk about what it feels like to be on psychedelics, how the brain is affected by psychedelics, and what's actually happening biologically when someone is on psychedelics. We also discuss the incredible clinical studies and trials happening with MDMA and psilocybin and how they are contributing to the betterment of mental health and mental health treatment.

Psychedelics have offered me profound experiences in my own life, and whether you're interested in trying them or not, this episode on the psychedelic renaissance is profoundly informative.

Enjoy!
